🐕 SPRING CHECK-UP SEASON IS HERE 🐕
Spring vet visits are the perfect time to have some important conversations with your vet. Have you asked about titers vs boosters? Or whether your pup really needs all those annual vaccines?
Here's the thing: over-vaccinating can do more harm than good. This spring, consider requesting annual wellness bloodwork and 4Dx testing for your dog. It's all about supporting long-term health and making informed decisions for your fur baby.
Head to our blog to dive deeper into what you should be asking your vet this season. Your pup will thank you! 🐾

💯THIS!!
Love this! I feel like I say these exact words multiple times a day. I even have a NO jar (like a swear jar) at the training hall!

TW: animal abuse
If a dog trainer does any of these things and calls it “training”, they’re wrong. It’s animal abuse.
All of these actions infringe upon three of the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare, the international standard for animal welfare, which animal welfare laws are premised on:
-Freedom from pain, injury, or disease
-Freedom from discomfort
-Freedom from fear and distress
Legislation and regulation haven’t caught up with the dog training industry yet, so unless a trainer kills (yes, it happens) or severely neglects or injures a dog, then they generally walk away with no repercussions.
Dogs are sentient, meaning they can suffer and feel physical pain and mental distress. So please keep educating, keep talking with decision-makers, keep reporting trainers who use these methods to the authorities, keep showing the world that there are humane methods of training. Our dogs deserve it.
