We are still buzzing from playing this past weekend! From the organizers to the vendors, the crowd, the beer and the weather! What an experience.

We’re excited for tomorrow’s show taking place in DTK at Vogelsang Green. “Doors” at 7pm. If you’re from the area and know wsup, Sunset Sessions during the summer are a super fun way to spend a few hours on a Friday. Meet new music fans, discover new bands and artists, and connect with the community. Should, for some reason, the weather take a turn, the concert takes place at the Downtown Kitchener Market.

A note from Sean: In 2012, I sat on my couch in London, slightly stoned while watching jump from space to break the records for highest altitude jump and the sound barrier while skydiving. I was in awe of the sheer magnitude of such a plan, and the nerves of steel one would have to have to attempt it.

As I thought about it more, I wondered “what could possibly top that?”. Would he spend the rest of his life trying to chase that rush, or would it trap him in limbo, “between the moment and the never enough”. The song Felix was born on that day, and since then has gone through several iterations.

After finally finding its final form, we recently learned that Felix Baumgartner passed away, chasing that rush all these years later. I guess, when you’re built to defy fear and earthly limitations, you’re bound to go out in a blaze of glory, rather than a bed in a nursing home.

So here’s to Felix. May you be racing against the wind in the sweet hereafter, and never settle for runner up.
