Had a blast cheering on the at the Whale and Ale with this crew! 5-0 over the Kelowna Rockets Baby! was named player of the game and their game is on Monday night against the Everett
Silvertips. We have council on Monday night so it won’t be as fun to watch but we will be cheering on the Rangers in spirit!

Last week I joined the Evening of Recognition Event hosted by where community members, leaders, and changemakers came together to celebrate contributions, build connections, and strengthen relationships across our network. It was inspiring to engage with so many passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact in our community. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so meaningful, energizing, and engaging.

The following day, I was invited to participate in the Community Climate Leadership Forum hosted by ClimateActionWR, the University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University. The forum brought together leaders from multiple sectors for an open and collaborative discussion on how Waterloo Region can continue advancing the TransformWR Climate Action Plan.

The goal of the forum was to identify opportunities to build stronger community momentum around climate action while addressing key priorities including:
• Transit and active transportation
• Electric vehicles
• Residential and industrial electrification and heat pumps
• District energy
• Renewable energy

It was encouraging to hear how communities, institutions, and industry leaders are working together to advance practical and sustainable climate solutions while supporting economic development, affordability, and energy security.
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these important conversations and collaborate with so many dedicated community leaders working toward a stronger and more sustainable future. 🌎

Inspired after attending the Community Heroes Recognition Banquet tonight, hosted by An evening dedicated to celebrating the individuals who make a meaningful difference in our community, and it truly was good for the soul.

Congratulations to the 14 individuals recognized as heroes tonight. Your stories, compassion, leadership, and commitment to helping the human soul thrive are deeply inspiring. Thank you for all your good work. What a blessing it was so see so many familiar faces.

It was a special evening bringing together community members, partners, and supporters to celebrate the people who quietly and consistently make our community stronger, kinder, and more connected. Grateful to have been part of it. ✨

Got to spend some time with friends at Brewery getting our hands busy (and a little tangled 😄) weaving willow for Swoop—a beautiful new public art installation coming to the Mill Courtland Community Centre.

We each made a small sparrow that will become part of a larger murmuration of swallows, created alongside community members across Kitchener. There’s something pretty special about contributing even a tiny piece to something that represents resilience, connection, and home.

Can’t wait to see them all take flight together.
