๐ National AccessAbility Week 2026 ๐
From May 31st to June 6th, we proudly recognize National AccessAbility Week.
This is a time to celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and the invaluable contributions of Canadians with disabilities.
It is a great opportunity to reflect on how we can all help build a more inclusive and barrier-free Canada. Whether itโs in our workplaces, communities, or everyday interactions, every step toward accessibility makes a difference.
Letโs take time to learn, listen, and take action because inclusion benefits everyone. ๐

We are proud to share that our hard work and advocacy is paying off!
For the first time, ABI is included in the new Waterloo Region Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan.
This is an important step forward in raising awareness and ensuring the needs of those affected by ABI are recognized and supported in our community.

We previously shared that a Mama Goose had decided our Opportunity Centre garden beds were the perfect place to also grow her babies...and theyโve finally hatched! ๐ฃ๐
Weโre hopeful weโll be able to reclaim our gardens again soon, but for now, this very protective mama is keeping everyone at a distance and looking after her little ones. ๐
