On the anniversary of Sheba's passing, it is nice to see Cleopatra step up and do her bit to help families.
This is the start of scent recognition.
Good job, Cleo.

Nice day to do some search training to include dogs.
Welcome all new faces with their furry partners

And so it begins.
On Cleopatra's 1st birthday today, she is now starting her formal training with Tracey & Sue, who were a big influence in Sheba's training at https://canineacademy.ca/.
Although Cleopatra has been working with us on discipline, etc. all certification is done outside our group for all our dogs.
Good luck, Cleopatra, you have big paws to fill following Sheba

This past weekend, people from the Mississauga and Niagara regions braved the cold to come learn about ground and dog searches.
Learning global level of strategies when it comes to searches and how your dog reacts, they were able to take away with them an advanced understanding of how to help families.
Well done to all. We look forward to working with you in the future, as you take pride in your level of advancement.

So far this year, we have added some amazing sponsors
From new batteries for the command unit supplied by Interstate Kitchener, to LifePo4 batteries supplied by Redodo, a new motor from Minn Kota, an automatic solar-powered pump for the boat, a 12v air conditioner from OutEquip, just to mention a few. We are proud to welcome them all to our growing list of supporters.
Redodo, supplying us with two LifePo4 batteries, increased our high-needed power source.
A brief description and thank you have been created in this short YouTube video

Now that we have almost completed our new sponsors for the marine, we are ready to introduce a new sponsor in Aviation.
Meet the Griffin.
This is one of two units that will be at our disposal.
It is what is called a VTOL Vertical Take Off and Landing
As you can see from the video, it takes off vertically and then transitions into flight.
It has a flight time of about 2 1/2 hours!
The other is the Phoenix, which has six hours of flight time.
It will be here later this year.
With the ability of different cameras, including Regular, Thermal, and LIDAR. We are able to capture images and amazing distances and create a full picture
Thank you to Patrick from www.fliight.ca. We will be working with him on training and operations.

We are proud to add RainTaker to our sponsors.https://www.raintakermarine.com/
Providing us with a solar-powered Bilger pump for our boat, so we do not have to worry about water collecting before or during operations.
Thank you, Joe, for your support.
In the past few months, that makes three amazing companies that have allowed us to upgrade our boat. Redodo, with their LifePo4 100Amp battery. Minn Kota, with their electric motor, and now RainTaker with this pump, keep the boat ready for use.

Just wait till you see what is next in aviation and canine...

Thank you to all who support us, understanding that without them, we would not be as efficient, helping us help others.

πŸ”Ή Technology-Driven Operations – using drones, thermal imaging, GPS, GIS mapping, and signal tracking to make search and rescue faster and smarter.
πŸ”Ή Public Education & Training – building awareness and teaching safety for outdoor adventurers.

At Redodo, it’s an honor to provide reliable LiFePO4 power solutions that help fuel their life-saving operations. Because every mission, like every adventure, deserves power without limits.

Another great sponsor, Minn Kota, has supplied a stronger motor for our boat.
Working with the Redodo LifPo4 battery, this is going to supply a great performance for our boat.
There is more to come as we expand.

Over the past few months, we have been in negotiations with several companies, some local and some international.
Power, being one, collaborates with us to provide various items that support search and rescue operations, disaster relief, and canine training.
Donations of LifePo4 batteries for trailers and boats alike will enable us to operate in critical situations.
With our lead-acid batteries providing the standard power needed, these LifePo4 batteries will be isolated for heavy-duty requirements, as in our 12V air conditioner/Heater provided by OutEquip.
They provided us not only with an incredible power source but also with specific charging and monitoring equipment. We are very proud to welcome them to our sponsors.

Today, I received this from someone I do not know, who creates songs in tribute to dogs like Sheba.
It puts it in perspective how much we can learn from our animals to care unconditionally
This was very touching and appreciated. Thank you.
