What does this mean for you? 👉
How your qualifications match what the system expects matters more than ever.
Many companies in Canada filter candidates before a human even looks at them.
Missing certifications, incomplete education, or unclear credentials automatically push your application out.
Before applying to more jobs, take a step back and check what’s missing. Are there any qualifications we can help you with?

Not having your Grade 12 is costing you more than you think. 👇 🔎
In the age of AI, job postings quietly filter out applicants without a high school diploma, even if you have experience.
For adults, going back to school can feel unrealistic. Work, bills, and responsibilities don’t pause.
Online high school courses remove that barrier. You can upgrade on your schedule without even stepping into a classroom.
It’s one of the fastest ways to reopen closed career paths.
We got Jennifer and Angela together to ask: what makes Pathways the best learning centre?
Their answer is both insightful and entertaining. In summary, custom programming, supportive staff, and most importantly...the snacks!

Failing an exam doesn’t mean you’re not capable.
It usually means one of three things:
1) You didn’t know the format
2) You ran out of time
3) You prepared the wrong way.
Many assume they have to study more, but the problem may actually be HOW you studied.
In this video, Angela talks about how her Red Cross students put their training into action—and what it’s like to step in and make a real impact.

We recently became a certified women-owned business, and it got us thinking about our impact (and what impact we can have in the future).
We've trained countless women since starting this business. One thing we've noticed is how often qualified women hold back: Not speaking up in meetings. Not applying to competitive roles. Always second-guessing themselves.
We're taught to be agreeable, to be humble, to always prove our worth. But all that's doing is holding us back.
A message for all working women: Never be afraid to take space, even if that means making space for yourself when no one else will.
How can we help you unlock your potential?
Making a career change can feel intimidating.
We asked Amanda to share her advice on how to make the switch a little easier.

Same job. Same pay. Another year.
Many professionals stay stuck because their skills haven’t evolved.
Employers reward updated skills, certifications, and adaptability.
Short-term professional development courses can reposition you for higher-paying roles faster than you think.
Staying where you are has a cost.
As a educational service centre, one thing we're always thinking about is what students are struggling with most (and more specifically, how we can help reduce the burden).
We asked Jennifer what she thinks is the biggest obstacle for students in Canada right now.
Do you agree?
As the founder of Pathways, Jennifer has been there from the very beginning. She’s seen the services evolve first-hand.
Today, she shares what Pathways’ services look like now, and how they’ve grown since it all began.
