Bring your whole self, or take the break from planning if you need to. It's ok to sit it out for a day or two. As long as when you come to the table, you're really there!

Planning takes time, and energy. Acknowledge that and take a deep breath- give your self a pat on your back for everything you've got done so far, and take a break.

Pushing yourself when you're tired may mean you're re-doing a task several times. Talk to your planner if you need to re-adjust your timelines, theres ALWAYS a way.

If todays feels like a day to slay it all, then bring it baby! But if today feels like a bath and a candle then allow yourself to do just that!

Let talk about Elopements

What is an elopement? Can i bring my bestie? would we still take pictures?

1. Elopements have always been around, they have been the solution for anyone who doesnt care to have a lot of people at the wedding and prefer a quiet intimate and personal moment. Typically elopements have 2-10 people attend - and a wedding announcement is sent our after (instead of a wedding invite/save the date)

2. Most couples do bring a photographer/videographer and planner along because it is still a very special day and it needs to be perfect. At a minimum you need 2 people to be your witnesses (could be the photographer and videographer) + an officiant

3. The best part about this, there are no limits on location! You can choose a spot thats special to the two of you. ANYWHERE! your backyard, the park you met at, the hike you enjoyed together, the waterfall you fell in love with, nothing is off limits (I'm not encouraging trespassing)and your planners likely have a handy dandy list of fun spots around town. Did you know I'm offering elopement bundles at ? Its an all inclusive package you show up and say I do surrounded by the greatest love stories of all times!

4. Finally cost, goes without saying, but you're going to save a ton on elopements, and we know you're working towards that 20%

Fall Wedding Advice~

We're seeing more fall weddings this year than ever before. And in our world ( ) if fall weather is to be described in one word that would be - Unpredictable

So heres some tips to keep in mind for Fall Weddings:

- It will rain, embrace it! Yes, you're right, it may not, but its best to assume it will and plan for it. Think cute clear umbrellas for bridal party shots. Ensure you have a backup ceremony location and SHOES omg! dont forget to plan the right footwear

- It may be cool/cold, think about adding on a late night hot chocolate station, have some baskets of shawls for your guests, and if you can, rent those space heaters, if your guests are uncomfortable its not going to be a fun party. PS: Soup makes a great first course.

- Capitalize on colour! Mama earth is literally dressed up for your big day, incorporate nature into your decor and use elements that work with whats already gorgeous. Our birch arch is rented out the most at this time of the year - why? because its a natural piece of beauty and you can literally add some mums in planters besides it and you're done! dont need much at all, Decorate with sunflowers, mums, dahlias and even pumpkins this time of the year.

Proof of vaccine came into effect this week and here’s how it effects weddings! All info is based off the Ontario.ca website but it’s still best to call your city and check with your venue ahead of the wedding day - things change fast !

August is usually that last "summer wedding rush" month..but usually dont apply anymore, August feels like its just the beginning .... and even tho fall weddings have always been a think, the summer rush just always won, do you think this will change?
