Today, we spotlight Steve Nelson, a long-time player within Bowls USA and a great addition to Team North America for the 2026 Sea to Sea Cup Exhibition.

Hailing from the Central Division in the USA (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Steve has been a presence on the bowls scene in both Canada and the USA for many years. Known for his consistency and calm presence, he has built a great career and continues to build on it, splitting time between Ontario (Summer) and Arizona (Winter).

Here are some of Steve’s career highlights:

🥉 2011 Asia Pacific Championships – Bronze Medal (Triples, Lead) Representing Team USA on one of the sport’s biggest international stages, Steve helped secure a bronze medal — a major achievement for the American program.
