You know it’s a busy weekend when the reserve (spare) units are out working

Did you know the sanitation and cleaning team only start washing trucks around 630? This is so it’s cooler and the soap doesn’t dry as fast. If there are any defects reported or found the technician is notified. At Bast we have a licensed technician (mechanic) on call 24 hrs a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.

A very big THANK YOU to Kaitlyn and her Mom from Wallace Racing, who spent their Saturday help train our new recruits on HANS device, helmet removal and even brought her car to go over.

The Bast crews had a great time doing some wonderful training past weekend with the Barc Track Safety Team and Abrams towing. A special shout out to John Sommerville from Abrams and John Casale from flamboro speedway for hosting us!

And here we are working the night shift again. We don’t mind especially when it’s a multi crew event, it doesn’t even seem like we’re at work!

A huge thanks goes out to all the paramedics, EMRS, Firefighters and Tow operators! With out all of you none of this would be possible, you definitely don’t get enough credit.
Special thanks to Derek Smith for all the nice pictures.
Bast Emergency Services
Established in 2005, the owners of Bast Emergency saw a need for an all-in-one professional service.
Having participated in motor-sports events themselves, they found that the first aid teams were more reactive than proactive. Experiencing the services first hand, they knew the dysfunction and how they wanted to shape their company.
Striving to be the best in the industry, Bast Emergency is not just a first aid service. We provide both basic / advanced life support, and "symptom relief" medication which allows us to stand out from our competitors.
Our mission is to ensure the highest level of care.
