Sharing some wonderful moments from Multicultural Connections 2026 ✨

It was an evening filled with community, culture, performances, Indigenous learning, conversations, and connection. Guests had the opportunity to meet many local organizations, enjoy cultural performances, participate in Indigenous learning experiences, and hear inspiring stories through our Human Library experience.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped create such a welcoming and meaningful atmosphere. Events like these remind us of the importance of belonging, connection, and celebrating the diversity that makes the Waterloo Region feel like home. πŸ’›

We hope everyone left feeling a little more connected to their community.

Yesterday, we hosted another successful Multicultural Connections event at the Kitchener Public Library with an amazing turnout of over 250 attendees. πŸ’›

This event was not only a space for community members to connect, but also an opportunity to learn more about the many valuable programs and services available across the Waterloo Region.

A huge thank you to the Kitchener Public Library for hosting us, to all the community organizations for sharing their incredible work, to the performers, Indigenous learning experiences, and Human Library speakers for sharing their journeys, and to the amazing team behind the scenes who helped make this event possible.

And of course, thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening so welcoming, vibrant, and meaningful. ✨
