Tonight was unprecented for me as we teamed up with others to set 7 brand new World Records in Final Fantasy XIV. Here is how it all went down.

So we completed a day long speedrun marathon at with and it was a great run with $415.15 being raised for McMaster Children's Hospital. Thank you to GFA for being a part of ConBravo and thank you ConBravo for having this event at the convention.

Earlier tonight while doing a live stream of Final Fantasy XIV, during a monologue by one of the game's villains, I was criticized for not feeling sympathy or emotional appreciation for them. This criticism came from a Kingdom Hearts fan. I get that in Kingdom Hearts, Organization XIII, is meant to be sympathetic, in spite of the fact that they are the main villains.

What they don't understand is that I have been gaming for far longer than they have and when it comes to a overwhelming majority of the video games that I have played, there is no grey area when it comes to villains. We don't question the motives of the likes of Bowser, Ganondorf or Dr. Wily. Even in Square Enix RPGs, we don't question the likes of Zeromus, Kefka or Lavos.

I wish they would understand this because they need to recognize that not every villain is styled like Organization XIII is.
