Last week, VCT Group's Green Team celebrated Earth Day the best way we know how — by giving back to the community.

For the second year in a row, we hosted our free solar panel giveaway, and once again, the community showed up in a big way. Hundreds of community members lined up from our parking lot down Victoria Street, arriving in hybrids, EVs, propane vehicles, and even on foot!

Each panel we give away is one more person embracing the best renewable energy source, solar, and one more step toward a community powered by clean energy.

If you or a friend picked up a panel and wants to share the project you'll be working on, send us a dm and we'll make sure to share the story.

At VCT Group, environmental responsibility isn't just something we talk about; it's something we actively work to live by.

This Earth Day, our Green Team organized a company-wide garbage cleanup, with our office staff and field teams collecting trash at our property and job sites. It was a small but meaningful effort that reflects the values we try to bring to everything we do.

Today's cleanup was just one of the green initiatives we had running this Earth Day — stay tuned next week as we share more from our solar panel giveaway.

What to know before you arrive:

• 1 panel per person, first-come, first-served
• Limited quantities – pickup only, no holds
• Panels are fully functional and still produce ~92% of their original output.
• Two types available:

• 65.5” x 39.5” | 230W

By giving these panels a second life, we’re keeping valuable materials out of landfills while helping the community explore renewable energy firsthand.
