A few weeks ago I had my 3rd annual photo shoot in support of a beautiful little girl with an amazing family to raise awareness for Down Syndrome.

I could have spent all day photographing this little lady so she gets her own post!
Fun fact....Egrets are in the heron family. They are a migratory bird species. In order for her to be at the Bird Kingdom, they have to have a special permit for her. The permit for her to be there is granted solely based on the fact that she is really old and was not flying south. She has arthritis and is a sassy little thing. She is hand fed her dinner daily to make sure the other birds do not steal all her food.
