Costume Lambeth Cake 🩷

This cake was an order from a friend working at the Nation Ballet. She requested that it be costume themed, so I asked for photos of their work for inspiration. The gorgeous Sugar Plum Fairy tutu had me like 🤩 With all the beautiful trim and texture, it was the perfect opportunity to try creating a Lambeth cake. With all that buttercream and piping, it felt like I was adding trim to a costume! 🩰👗 Loved this experience and outcome! Insides are a seasonal spiced cake with cream cheese icing and candied pecans 🍂

I call her S’moira. She may be rough around the edges, a little unstable, and I don’t recommend travelling with her in summer since she’ll be a hot melty mess- I found out the hard way☀️ BUT she’s a delicious toasted stunner! Other than some egg whites, she’s all dairy-free made with a rich chocolate cake, luscious chocolate ganache, biscoff cookies for that graham cracker crunch, and a torched marshmallow frosting 😍S’more S’more S’more pleeeaase🔥
