Avocado seed is chugging along despite the radical pruning from the dog.
It's getting darker out there! The only way I can help my houseplants to hold on though the winter, was by adding some grow lights to increase my light.
We made my terrarium up today to house my new tiny Ring of Fire Philodendron and my Jewel Orchid.

Goldenrod. You are not allergic to this plant. It is not ragweed, but they bloom at the same time. The pollen from Goldenrod is big and heavy and does not float round in the air like the lighter pollens of ragweed. Native Goldenrod is a beneficial addition to your pollinator garden. Its widely appreciated by the local pollinators and looks lovely in bunches. While it can grow quickly, it is easy to pull any unwanted tubers and keep it in check.

By the light of the fridge, a most beautiful lettuce. The bounty of our weekly CSA is so exciting! Thank you for growing such high quality vegetables. Potatoes. Beans, broccoli and more this week.

Honeybees on my sunflowers! Success! I grew a bunch of sunflowers in pots this year and they are bringing in the pollinators for my peppers, tomatoes, and strawberries! Planting them in containers saved them from the adorable bunny family too!
