What started as a Grade 12 Religion project became a beautiful example of compassion, teamwork, and community. 💙 🍋

A huge thank you to Marcos, Mariana, and Yueal from the Resurrection CSS Community Living Class for creating and running their very own lemonade stand and raising an incredible $224 for Tiny Home Takeout!

From shopping for ingredients, making the lemonade, designing the stand, selling to their peers, counting the money raised, and even taking the bus for the first time to personally deliver their donation and learn more about our mission -- they poured their hearts into every step of the journey.

Their teacher, Ms. Borho, shared how much she learned from these students and how inspired she was by their hard work, dedication, and determination. We couldn't agree more 💙

We are so proud of all that you accomplished and so grateful that you chose to support Tiny Home Takeout. Your generosity will help us continue feeding our community and reminding people that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

We loved being part of the KW Multicultural Festival and having the opportunity to connect with so many incredible people from across our community. From familiar faces to new friends, every conversation reminded us that food has a beautiful way of bringing people together.

Hunger No More 2026

Join us for the 6th Annual Hunger No More, an afternoon filled with incredible local food, live music, family-friendly activities, a silent auction, artisan vendors, and most importantly, community. More than 20 local chefs and restaurants will come together to share their favourite dishes, all in support of Tiny Home Takeout's mission to ensure everyone has access to nutritious, delicious meals.

This is a donate-what-you-can event with no tickets, no registration, and no barriers. Everyone is welcome.

Come hungry -- for food, for connection, and for change.
Together, we can help build a community where no one is left out and no one goes hungry. ❤️

Our volunteer, Phelo, recently created this incredible piece of artwork featuring the Tiny Home Takeout logo, surrounded by Bible verses that speak to our mission of feeding those who are hungry.

It is more than just art -- it’s a reflection of compassion, faith, and the power of serving others. Every verse tells a story, and each aspect of this beautiful piece is a reminder that caring for our neighbours goes far beyond a meal.
