Plants love rainwater🌧️
Pre-order your rain barrel by June 5th at 🔗RainBarrel.ca/ReepGreen!
In natural environments when it rains, the water falls directly on trees, plants, and the soil, soaking into the ground and refilling our groundwater supply.
In urban areas with development and impermeable spaces, rainwater that falls on roofs and roads becomes runoff - ending up in our stormwater management systems with the pollutants it carries along the way.
Rain barrels are a great way to capture rainwater from our roofs, before it becomes runoff. Storing it for use later will also save you money on your water bill!
All proceeds of our Rain Barrel Fundraiser will support the Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region W.A.L.E.S Group's Community Garden in a City of Kitchener Rain Smart Neighbourhood!

Today we celebrated the launch of our Roadside Tree Planting Program in theTownship of Wellesley 🌳
Community members, MP and MPPs, council members, community organisations, and our team gathered to show their support for the program and plant a native sugar maple tree 🍁 at the Wellesley Recreation Complex to commemorate the initiative!
Working together to plant 9,000 native trees along regional and township roads by the end of 2026, this project represents a significant regional collaboration between Reep Green Solutions, the Region of Waterloo, and the Township of Woolwich, Township of Wilmot, and Township of Wellesley.
Most of these trees were grown at Reep's Native Tree Nursery from locally-collected seeds, and now we are finding them homes where they can plant their roots and strengthen our urban canopy.
This project was carried out with funds from the Government of Canada to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Green Municipal Fund.
