Formerly known as the Techplex (TPLX) and the NetImp@ct Suport Centre (NSC for short) the Student Computing Centre (SCC) began as a computing lab in the 80's.
The Student Computing Centre (Techplex), located in the basement of Goodes Hall, is a popular student-operated business that provides technical, print-related, and multimedia resources for all SSB students and faculty. Thank you again Limestone for helping us make this inaugural series a success!
Last week, Limestone hosted five separate sessions for the broader Queen's student body which covered the essentials in operating a Bloomberg terminal. In partnership with the Student Computing Centre, roughly 60 students learned various Bloomberg shortcuts and features, how to export data, and more.
We'd like to thank our Analysts (Class of 2022) who led the sessions: Michael Donovan, James Maycher, Dean Ponce, Alice Qi, Wasiq Wadud, Helen Wong, and Shu Lei Wu.
