Being organized means simplifying, giving everything you own/need a home so when you need it you know just where to find it and can access it easily. If you don’t know where it is and you can’t access it easily when you need/want it, then what’s the point in having it around, taking up space?

1-The first step in reaching that goal is to get rid of what you no longer need / use.

2-Once you have freed up some space you can utilize it for your Everyday Items. Maybe spread out your furniture just reclaim it! Then bring in some storage solutions (baskets, bins, drawers,
Shelves) and decide where you would like them.

3- Lastly, sort your items into similar groups (ie. games, stationary, tools, kitchen, linen), and collect and combine pieces/parts that belong together.

Finally you can put things in their new place, and sit back and enjoy your space once again.
