The arc programs team is honoured to be participating in the Turtle Island Festival at Waterfront Park in Kelowna as we recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Hosted by the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society and Métis Community Services Society of BC, this family-friendly celebration brings community together through culture, music, art, and food.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to celebrate the cultures, languages, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At arc programs, we recognize reconciliation as an ongoing responsibility and are committed to listening, learning, and building meaningful relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities.

We are grateful to be part of today's celebration and to learn alongside our community.

Pride is knowing you belong, being free to be yourself, and being proud of who you are.

Last weekend, members of the arc programs team joined the Kelowna Pride Event in support of 2SLGBTQ+ communities across our region.

At arc programs, we believe that every person deserves to be valued, respected, and connected. Building communities where people can experience belonging, equity, and hope means creating spaces where everyone can be their true self.

We are proud to stand with 2SLGBTQ+ children, youth, families, colleagues, and community members during Pride Month.
