In a world that never stops moving, it’s so important to slow down.
Stop living in tomorrow or yesterday inside your imagination, and just be here. Look down at the rocks and flowers, or up at the birds, the clouds, the sun, or the moon. The Universe took millions—billions—of years to create all of those things, and they’re here right now, waiting for you to see the beauty in them. The real beauty in the world.
The Earth is an artist, and it gave you eyes so you could witness it all. What a beautiful, slow world we actually live in. Just breathe… and look at rocks. ❤️🪨

Couple of the rough cuts from today.
Our family picked up some amazing rocks, including that amber opal, at the lake this past few days. The golden glow of that opal is just stunning.
We love rocks 🪨❤️

Gosh aren't those little dendrites beautiful???
I was cutting the edges off another agate and was so pleasantly surprised to find the interior of the outer crust was speckled with all these baby dendrites on a stunning rusty background.
I love that every single one is unique and I'm the first human being to ever see these little guys 🥰
And I get to share it with you guys!
If you enjoy seeing beautiful rocks and learning weird things, do me a big favor - like and share so that more people get to see how beautiful rocks really are ❤️🪨

Orbits & Shadows ☄️🌌
This little slice looks like a close-up of some far-off galaxy, two planets caught mid-orbit in a sea of swirling space dust.
Those perfect little circles? They likely formed when gas bubbles or mineral nodules got trapped in the silica gel that would later harden into chalcedony. Over time, minerals seeped in and decorated them with their own cosmic paint job. Nature’s slow-motion artwork! 🎨✨

Freshly Rehomed Rocks 🪨❤️
These two beauties have officially found their forever homes! The one on the left looks like a windswept ocean captured in sepia tones, while the one on the right is a moody, mysterious breccia framed in silver and gold.
I love thinking of our pendants like little rock pets — each one hand-picked, hand-cut, and wrapped with care before heading off to their new adventures. 🐾✨
Breccia isn’t just broken rock glued back together — it’s nature’s version of mosaic art, with each fragment telling a piece of an ancient story.
