It is no longer news that kidnapping and murder have become a daily reality in Nigeria; a tragic routine that citizens are forced to brace themselves for every single day. 😳😥

What makes this situation even more alarming is the recent recovery operation by the Nigerian Police Force, which supposedly rescued the family members of the former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, from "kidnappers."

To many, it feels like our politicians are treating citizens like fools, playing with our emotions whenever it suits them. The entire "recovery operation" looked less like real police work and more like a scripted movie. Meanwhile, that same urgency and capability are nowhere to be found when it comes to rescuing the innocent pupils and teachers who have been in captivity for almost three weeks now. 😞😥
