Another beauty deck done! Book your deck finish before the snow flies!

Got the timbers from Dai Zen Joinery, lifting the deck off the shoring and adding the new timber beams and posts. Rigging installed through the deck as we are removing the old deck boards and replacing it with Flexstone. Going to be beautiful!

Removal of what we thought was the solid portion of the beam. 4 ply 2x10 fell off the joists n exploded, and this did not even look rotten. The center 2 plys were completely powder!

When you uncover a deck beam soooo rotten the posts push through the beam... drastic measures, build an emergency wall, and shore up the deck. Stay tuned this is going to be one stunning lake front home. Another TIMELESS project!
