Solid surface countertops add a sophisticated touch to this modern kitchen design.

The heat resistance of quartz countertops is higher than that of solid surface when used as a kitchen countertop.

Since they’re made from plastic resins, laminate countertops are fuss-free to clean. They’re resistant to stains, too. All it takes is soap and water to clean the surface and keep it properly sanitized.

Just be sure not to use abrasive cleaners, which can scratch them.

In terms of appearance, both granite and quartz have their own strong points.

Quartz has more consistent colours, which come in a wider array since the material is manufactured with pigments added to it.

Granite has slight natural variations in hue and its colours range from natural earth tones to striking greens, reds and blues.
