TRUFA Executive members are wearing Red for Ed in solidarity with the Kamloops Thompson Teachers Association and educators across Canada...
What is Red for Ed? The Kamloops Thompson Teachers Association (KTTA) is holding a Red for Ed event. It's super easy. All affiliates have to do is wear something red, and take a picture walking into work with your colleagues.
The event is in partnership with what all educators in Canada will be doing this Friday - a part of an event put on by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation. It is being done to raise awareness of the need to raise the per-student allocation. BC is currently $1800 behind the National average.
