So happy happy me, well in a couple of hours anyway.
Was in the pool today- it's still 76 or so.
Basement is almost cleaned out, one repair left.
Gotta find some young muscles to help with the bedroom wood to put up. It's turning out really nice with the linseed oil.
It's 1890's pine from an old house. the fellow that hand axed it was pretty good. I planed down the back a bit, but left the axe marks on the face. it's about 12 inches across by 2" thick.

They stripped down the cedar, to find 1/2x6 strips over 1/2x6 full. So we filled in the gaps, then covered with 3/8 inch plywood, then the house surround and the metal roof. Aluminum interlock.

This all the termite damage, I've repaired. All that mess was removed. Sorry old photos, these are from a crappy little camera in 2003-4. You can see the old paneling.

The tire wall before I rebuilt it. I took them all down, used the sand that had started to push it out- it had a 10" overhang. I used that sand to level the yard, by the cedars. And pushed it back against the property line. The new one is stable, the pear tree was removed, but the cherry lives on. 2004
