This month, we honour the strength, resilience, and creativity of Indigenous communities, recognizing the countless contributions that continue to shape and enrich Canada. From art and storytelling to leadership and innovation, Indigenous Peoples’ achievements inspire and strengthen us all.
National Indigenous Peoples Day, on June 21, is a moment to listen, learn, and reflect on the rich histories and living cultures of Indigenous Peoples, while fostering connections rooted in respect, understanding, and shared hope for a future guided by truth and reconciliation.

This event will be taking place at the Robson Park on the 11th of June from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Red Dress Day
Observed on May 5, Red Dress Day honours Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people. Red dresses displayed in public spaces symbolize the lives lost and the loved ones who are deeply missed.
Across communities, people gather for ceremonies, walks, and sharing circles to raise awareness, support healing, and call for justice and safety for Indigenous peoples.
Today, we remember, reflect, and stand together in support of Indigenous communities.
