The mountains and views we saw driving from Banff to Jasper were easily some of the most dramatic scenes I’ve ever witnessed. I told em to cry me a river before I realized they already do. This glacier, Athabasca, loses about 5 to 7 meters of tears per year.

Hey! Here’s me, with an over-exaggerated look of childlike wonder sweeping across my face as I wander through the lush forests of coastal Oregon. The beauty of these lands remain unmatched, as reflected by the bright twinkle in my eye and the perspirant glow of a days hike on my mug. Day #6 on the boat, and I finally got to shower last night. The air smells of salt and the boat reeks of fish. The scenery is absolutely SMACKIN though. Thankful to be out here for another two weeks. 🎣

I’d like to take this time to say thanks to all the plow drivers who make it possible for goons like me to drive all over the country in unfavorable conditions. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
