I'm already missing the mountains in BC. When the clean air hits my lung, I know that is where I want to be. Life will be changing as my new journey is starting soon, but the mountains will always be there for me to let go of my mind.
Norvan Falls - 13km round trip but as Covid-19 goes on we had to park further out.

Sawblade Fall - It was a short and pleasant hike for finding this waterfall, and along the trail there was also the Woodland Fall, which the myst was too strong for me to capture. This was on the very first day of 2020, that we decided to go somewhere close after we all stayed up for the countdown. 30 minutes drive out, after reaching the end of a community the forest jumped into our eyes unexpectedly. Within the 3 hours hike, we crossed many streams that were overflowing due to the multiple-days of rain, and it added onto the adventure as we had to jump onto different rocks to cross the stream

Cascade Fall - This exquisite waterfall is only 5 minutes walk away from the parking lot, which made photographing it so much harder - with all the kids jumping on the bridge!
There are many waterfalls in British Columbia that don't require a lot work to reach, and that really reminds me of Hamilton (ON), which is the city with highest density of waterfalls in the world.

This was my first winter hike and also one of my favourites so far. Wedgemount Lake is the camp base for several peaks in Garibaldi Park, and Wedgemount is the highest peak among all. I needed crampons to reach to the top as half of the the trail was covered with ice and snow!
I highly recommend this hike for summer backpacking!
