We are so grateful to the support we have received including this very generous donation from the Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley. This donation will go towards our Scouter and Beaver uniforms.
We recently donated $1000 to the newly established local Scouts program, 1st Invermere Scout Group so that families in our community don't need to worry about the cost of buying uniforms.

helps family and friends."

🌟 On May 14, 1984, Jeanne Sauvé made history as the first female Governor General of Canada and became the Chief Scout of Canada — the top Scout in the country was a woman! 🌟
This has changed the landscape of our program!
Scouting is all about fun with purpose, and that purpose is helping young people grow into responsible, capable citizens. One of the core values of Scouting is equality — we believe that everyone, regardless of their background, skin color, gender, religion, or sexual orientation, deserves to be treated equally. Scouting is not just for boys anymore! Girls and transgender youth have been able to register as participants in our program since 1996, bringing co-ed learning opportunities for the Scout groups across Canada.
In Scouting, we learn that working together in a diverse environment is key to solving problems for a greater community. When we embrace diversity, we not only grow as individuals but also help build a better, more inclusive world for everyone.
Let's celebrate Scouting's commitment to equality and continue to work together to create a world where everyone belongs. 🌍💙
