PSA: Help Us Kill the Noise on Your Internet Line
Over the last few months, some customers have seen random slowdowns and drops. We’ve tracked this to “noise” on the coax cable network that carries your internet service. That noise makes it harder for modems to stay locked in, which can knock people offline or cause buffering and drops in service.
The outlet in the photo is a coax wall plate. You may have one or several of these in your home, sometimes in different styles. Years ago they were used for analog cable TV, over‑the‑air TV, AM/FM radio tuners, and even satellite receivers. Today, that same coax is used almost entirely for internet data.
Here’s the problem: many older devices that are still plugged into those coax outlets can leak unwanted signals back into the network. That “noise” doesn’t just affect you – it can impact your neighbors in the same area as well.
Here’s how you can help clean things up:
If you have a TV connected directly from the wall with a coax cable (no working cable box), please disconnect that coax cable.
If you have an old stereo or radio tuner connected to the wall with coax, please disconnect it.
If you have an old satellite receiver that hasn’t worked in years, please disconnect its coax from the wall.
If you have working cable TV boxes from your current provider, you can leave those connected. If you have old, unused cable boxes that no longer work, please disconnect their coax cables too.
These small changes at home can remove a lot of noise from the cable plant and help make your internet connection – and your neighbors' – more stable and reliable.
Thanks for helping us keep the network clean!

Spam email, Phishing email, Virus email.....
We received and email from Ace Courier this morning. It was a very standard email.
It was even sent from the correct domain.....however attached was a PDF document that wanted to "Open Online"...... this was the trigger for us to not action anything.
We contacted them and they were aware of the issue.
If you do click on the fake PDF and it goes to a link that will allow someone to access your email and they will send emails from your email address and around and around it goes.
If you have clicked on an email like that, change your passwords, add multi factor authentication and get help from a tech support company if you are unsure how to take a deep dive to make sure the issue is solved.
Stay Safe, Stay Vigilant, Stay Kind.
Update: 6:45 pm, Sept 13
Looks like we are back up and running. If you are still having issues please try to power cycle your gear, unplug both, plug your modem back in, wait for 4 solid lights, then plug in your router, then wait 5 mins.
If you are still having issues after that then give us a call or email us at [email protected]
Looks like we are experiencing an area outage in and around the Pine Ridge / Pine Tree Valley area.
We are on it.
