We had the best time! We can't wait to go back next year. The East Kootenay Equestrian Association ran an incredible season of shows, clinics and schooling days, the derby was the perfect way to close out the 2025 show season. We can't wait to see the line up of dates for next year. Thank you so much ladies and all the other riders, coaches and parents for all the memories ❤️

A friendly reminder to all trails users about who yields to who.
If you encounter hikers or horse back riders while out and about riding, it’s your responsibility to yield the trail to them.
Bikers yield to hikers and everyone yields to horses.
When approaching other users, especially from behind, give a “hello” to let them know you are there.
In particular, if you encounter a horse and rider on the trail, please remember horses can be easily spooked by loud noises or sudden movements. Communicate with the rider, yield the trail and be prepared to dismount if necessary. Do not assume it’s safe to simply ride past, especially from behind.
Sure it may slow your Strava time down but the goal is to not scare anyone and have everyone enjoy their time on the trails.
