Just finished this oversized king quilt - all free motion with some ruler work. Enjoy the pics.

I have just relocated to the Columbia Valley in BC and have my APQS longarm set up again😁. It was so nice to get quilting again and what a great project this one was. The request was for an edge to edge design in the main body and something different for the borders. I think it worked out well! Happy summer everyone😊

I just love the colours in this lovely quilt - it was hard to return it to it’s owner😁. Custom quilted with a combination of ruler work, free hand and computer designs. It was a pleasure to quilt!

This stunning quilt is 115”x115” - it just fit on my 12’ frame! I chose a geometric pattern to showcase the geometric designs in this quilt. I am so fortunate to have so many wonderful clients that keep me busy. Thank you each and every one.

This is a quilt I finished up earlier this summer. I always like to try different designs that I think will enhance the overall beauty of the piecing. I often mix free motion quilting and computer designs but this quilt is completely computer designs that I have manipulated to suit the blocks and smashing. Enjoy. As always, the back shows all the designs.

Lots of texture here to add interest to the large solid blocks and setting triangles. The crazy quilt blocks have a simplified version of the design in the solid blue blocks.

This quilt has a very special history; the creator of this quilt, as a young girl, received a handkerchief from her grandmother every Christmas, and saved them. She has now turned them into blocks for this quilt. I wanted the quilting to enhance the handkerchiefs and then frame each one. I hope this quilt will bring many fond memories.

Just off my frame! This beautifully pieced king quilt and shams was a sampler quilt so only every 2 blocks were the same……so each block was quilted differently but with the same general theme to keep consistency throughout the quilt. It was definitely challenging to come up with ideas for different blocks😊. Predominantly hand guided free motion quilting.

Someone will be ready for winter! The houses, snowmen, trees and fence posts are all outlined with no further quilting so that they will pop. The swirls in the background is my version of wind.
