Mixing something as fun as trivia with something as heavy as the climate crisis is perhaps an unusual choice. But wouldn’t you rather face this crisis alongside friends – with snacks, drinks, and laughs, which is exactly what we’re doing.

This event aims to bust some of the most common myths around big oil, energy security and facilitate healthy conversation on community resilience in the face of a changing climate (🔗 link in comments below)

Join Wildsight Invermere on June 3rd at Radium Brewing to learn about how the Columbia Valley is already taking steps toward becoming climate resilient and empower people that collectively we can take local action to combat these changes. Through trivia we will be busting some of the most common misconceptions around the energy transition, and the messaging from the oil and gas industry in Canada.

We had bike repairs, textile repairs, learn how to worm farm, how to save money & stop throwing out food, connections to local organic farmer Oliver, how to reduce emissions, home energy efficiency, library of things, and so much more.
Here’s a short snippet of some of the moments from the Earth Day Fair & Clean-up!
