A few weeks ago, MentorAbility NWT and Neil Squire had the opportunity to attend the Youth Opportunity Fair at Somba K’e Park.

It was wonderful to meet so many youth from our community and share information about employment opportunities and disability supports available to help young people achieve their goals.

Through MentorAbility, youth can explore careers and connect with local professionals who can share their experiences and insights. Sometimes, a single conversation can open the door to new possibilities.

We would like to thank Home Base YK for inviting us and for hosting such a meaningful event for youth in our community. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with young people, families, and community partners who are helping build brighter futures across the Northwest Territories.
