Sipping my coffee with a little bit of is making this gloomy day a little bit sweeter! I have been searching for somewhere local that makes creamed honey for so long. My husbands family has always put creamed honey into their coffees, which I never even knew was a thing.. but he loves it, so we were both so happy that made a small batch and we got our hands on a jar! Supporting a local family business always feels so good. Go give this sweet bee family a follow!

This morning as I see the back to school posts all over my feed.. I’m feeling so grateful (and a bit emotional?) about not having to make a decision about if I should send my child to school. Sending hugs to all the parents who sent their kids to school because they don’t have the luxury of being able to stay home with their child. Sending hugs to all the parents who are making sacrifices to stay home with their kids because they feel the most comfortable with that. To the parents who just couldn’t manage homeschooling, to the parents who think sending them to school is better for their child’s mental health, to parents who want to send their child but just have to much anxiety about them potentially getting sick.. Whatever “back to school” looks like for you today, and no matter why you made that decision, I hope you feel so much peace and ZERO guilt. ❤️ Also, I know people have a lot of strong opinions about this matter.. just a reminder that what is best for you, your child, and your family is not what is best for EVERY parent, child and family. Be kind 💕

Fun fact: I buy almost 100% of my daughters clothes used! We will buy a few new things if they are really special (or really on sale!!) but otherwise, we pretty much stick to second hand! I find it so hard to buy new when I know she will either destroy it, or outgrow it in such a short amount of time... Some of my favourite places in the area to find gently used kids clothes are: and (They sell some maternity here too which is AMAZING, so hard to find used!) Both of these places also sell toys, which I also buy almost completely used (Even for Christmas and birthday gifts for Annabelle! 🤫) Are there anymore used kids shops I am missing out on?! Number one thing I did not realize about becoming a realtor is how much time would be spent in my car and also... how much coffee I would drink while in said car... 😅 There’s not many things I love more than a good cup of coffee, but I tend to just grab Starbucks or Tim Hortons because it’s convenient. I would love to support more local small cafes and coffee shops while I’m out and about all over Simcoe County! Where’s your fav spot to grab a cup?? ☕️

We took a little detour today and stopped by to walk the boardwalk! The sun was shining, live music playing, and even food trucks out serving food... What an amazing little escape so close to home! 💙
