If you’ve had a newborn or family session with me, you probably already know that “hands” are my thing! Hand-holding, at any age/stage, is one of my favourite details to capture. It was hard to pick just a couple of images to share from this session, but mom requested both of these poses and I’m so glad she did because they’re favourites for sure!

Choosing between the newborn session that’s right for you and your family? I’m often asked what a newborn “mini” session looks like, and thought I’d share this one. These sessions are budget-friendly and about half as long as a full session, but you’ll leave with a full heart and a full gallery of beautiful images! Held only in the studio when baby is between one week and one month old, these include images of siblings, full family, and individual portraits of baby. Unlike my full newborn session, these “Simply-Swaddled” sessions feature no elaborate posing, and instead focus on clothed and swaddled styling or awake and candid, as they are. Stress free, affordable, and easy!

This beautiful family was one of my very first clients. I photographed their first newborn son on the porch of my old home (we all start somewhere, right?) It was so special to photograph their second child and then recently, their third, whose photos will find a place on my grid one day, soon!

I’m so excited about the return of this event, celebrating motherhood, and the relationship between mother and child. These are an informal, relaxed studio session that focuses on the connection between mother and child.
