Happy Wednesday everyone!
As some of you may know, First General Muskoka has had the privilege of working with the amazing nurses and doctors at the Huntsville and Bracebridge Centers.
These amazing nurses and doctors that we get to work along side, have been wonderful. During a stressful and difficult time they keep in good spirits, stay vigilant and are so welcoming and friendly to our staff.
We received an email from one of the nurses the other day thanking First General Muskoka for being part of their team during this time. We feel we should be thanking them for showing up everyday, for putting themselves on the frontlines, and for fighting this thing.
So THANK YOU nurses and doctors for everything you're doing out there to keep all of us safe.

On May 2nd, 2020 Muskoka teamed up and enjoyed a night at home with some great food, entertainment and fun. A huge thank you to the amazing organizers, musicians and restaurants who made the happen.
Also, thank you to everyone who donated time and money to help support the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, the Muskoka Women's Shelters and Services and the Muskoka Food Banks. The goal was to raise $50,000.00 and $59,213.94 was raised. Simply amazing.
Thank you once again to the restaurants who were apart of this night; 3 GUYS And A Stove, Whimsical Bakery, Henrietta's Pine Bakery Inc., Tall Trees Muskoka, Riverwalk Restaurant, and The Oar & Paddle.
Feeling today.

Meet the staff Monday!!
Meet Ken! Ken has mastered the art of working hard while maintaining #1 comedian status here in the office.
Ken is our offices project manager assistant. Ken sources all the materials for every job, delivers the materials to job sites, and maintains equipment. Ken is not afraid of getting his hands dirty in the field either. Ken is a wealth of restoration knowledge. From personal protective equipment to being a great water technician.
When I asked Ken what he likes about working at First General Muskoka, he said that "everyday is different". If you are familiar with the restoration industry you know that to be true! When Ken isn't working (which is rare, even on his vacations), he is spending time with his family, watching sports, or fishing.
The values that drive Ken are; honesty, integrity, and sincerity. These are the values that Ken shows up to work with everyday, and it shows.
The owner of Canada e-Clouds has converted a portion of his manufacturing and assembly line into producing hand sanitizer called "Canada e-Clouds helping hands sanitizer". Canada E Clouds V***r Inc. co-founder David, said "Doing sanitizer for us is more of a 'labour of love' to help flatten the curve and is our little way to help the community. We're just happy we can do our little part to help." So, check them out guys. Support their efforts in doing what they can to help with the trying times.
