Day 20! Something a little different now that we’re two-thirds into the project! When I saw the prompt for Verano I knew I HAD to have a go at it. Tinto de verano happens to be a Spanish drink like sangria but bubbly and less boozy and is truly one of my favourite things of all time to consume. A red wine like this Spanish garnacha would be perfect for it 😉.

Day 16! Today was a good example of trying to balance ‘done’ and ‘perfect’. Sometimes it’s a struggle to know when a design is truly done and if it’s the perfectionism talking, or if I truly think I can improve on a design. I almost stopped a few times with this one but I’m glad I persisted because now it truly is a design I love! 🦊 🐰

Day 15! 🌸 Inspired by our first hummingbird sighting of the year! Also my annual PSA: having a hummingbird feeder is a wonderful way to watch wildlife but 🌟 please 🌟 only use white sugar and no honey or dyes! One part sugar, four parts water 🤗 The Smithsonian has a wonderful recipe online for more directions.

Day 12! Who doesn’t love a good local country market?? 🥬🍎🥦🫐

Day 10! Today I was challenged to pick a less ‘whimsical’ business idea to create a logo for. Since well drilling is common out in these parts I thought I’d go with that. I still couldn’t help myself from giving it a pun for a name, because, well, puns are great 😉

Day 8! I’m enjoying doing the fully hand-drawn style logos this week! 🌞 A slightly esoteric style logo inspired by a combo of my favourite podcasts, my constant work companions.

Day 7! I had so much fun with this style publishing logo! 🦉 🌙 It also happens to perfectly represent the night owl moves I’m pulling tonight

Day 6! A quick, fun retro patch for a fictional hiking trail, brought to you by the return of the sun today! ☀️ If this inspired trail exists, I’d like to hike it! ⛰

Day 5! Inspired by our very own handsome hound, who certainly loves his water- if not his suds 🛁. Logo for a dog wash/grooming business.
