Can't wait to share what's inside, once I know the letters have been received... don't want to spoil their surprise!

3 months ago I started a snail mail club, 'The Tidemark Print Club.' Here's why:

✍🏻The nostalgia of letter writing. Like so many of us, I used to write letters all the time. Growing up, we moved around a lot, and letter writing was how I kept in touch with all the friends I left behind.

💻 An opportunity to take a break from technology, to connect with people on a more personal level, and to create something tangible, that you can hold in your hands.

😌For as long as I can remember, I've wished that I could freeze time, to just take a breath, have a moment of calm without the pressure to keep up with the pace of life. My wish is for others to experience this moment of calm when they receive my mail.

🙏 It's a wonderful way to share my art and beautiful surroundings with others. It is such a compliment to have folks sign up to receive surprise mail from me each month! I have so much gratitude for the support of my art, and the trust Tidemark members have in me.

🏡 A revenue stream for my small art biz that gives me more time for creativity. I travel on ferries and drive for miles to attend markets & events to sell my work, and I love doing this! But travel expenses do add up. My print club allows me to stay home, limit travel, and spend more time creating.

💡 Incentive to create! Having monthly subscribers gives me incentive and motivation to create something new each month.

This one felt meant to be. A customer fell in love with my 'Black Oystercatchers' image and my cushions, and asked if I could bring the two together, so I did! The cover was produced by a company in Quebec, and when I delivered it, I discovered she lives right across from the ocean and can actually hear oystercatchers from her home. It was a perfect fit for her home, and her life right there by the water. She was absolutely delighted 🖤

'Tidal Path' was the print inside my 2nd issue of the Tidemark Print Club last month, along with a handwritten letter that tells the story behind the painting, and other thoughts of the month.

The creative surprise was a bookmark, and I added a bonus creative surprise, too - a hand-carved and printed block print, that pairs nicely with the theme of the month... sharing a beach walk.🧡

It's an absolute joy to create these elements that go into envelopes that I send out into the world. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed so far! It really means the world to me. ☺️

I'm busy working on next months issue, and can't wait to put the bundles together and pop them in the mail!
