About 20% of our calls last year involved a helicopter. If we can’t land near a subject, then we can often reach them by sending a Tech in on the end of a Longline. But, helicopters are not always an option. Bad weather, dwindling daylight, etc. are factors that will determine if a helicopter can assist in a call or not. . When we can’t go by air, we’ve got to go by ground.
