From this morning — can you believe most of the festival can be all packed on one dolly?

We’re almost fully set-up and ready to go for tomorrow. One small glitch in our plans so far…our paint hasn’t arrived yet 😰 Let’s all cross our fingers for an early morning delivery!!!

It’s been quite the week on these social media streets as we’ve shifted our approach to the comment section and promoted the festival. But honestly, the community stepping up and speaking up for our 2SLGBTQIA+ neighbours in response to the “fans” has made our hearts grow two sizes. The joy of seeing our allies speak up far outweighs any frustration we might feel.

We can’t wait to spend a weekend in community with you all ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 See you at Pride.

5PM TOMORROW, Mad Rover Music TAKES THE STAGE AT THE HOPE LEGION

Independent alternative folk singer-songwriter Mad Rover shares emotionally raw music with introspective lyricism and bright instrumentation. Their music vulnerably reflects their personal journey with mental health, neurodivergence, and self-exploration. Self-taught and inspired by nature, Mad Rover exhibits a unique and authentic sound. Through their music, Mad Rover strives to honour the real, the weird, and the earth.

🏳️‍🌈 June is Pride Month!
This month, the Pride flag will fly at District Hall and our local fire halls as a visible reminder of our commitment to inclusion, respect, and belonging for all members of our community.

Pride is about celebrating diversity, supporting one another, and recognizing that everyone deserves to feel safe and valued for who they are.

To our LGBTQIA+ residents, staff, volunteers, neighbours, and friends: thank you for helping make Hope the welcoming community it is today. 💛

🚧 Traffic Notice: Rainbow Crosswalk Repainting 🌈
The rainbow crosswalk on Park Street is scheduled for repainting on Wednesday, June 3.

📅 Date: Wednesday, June 3
⏰ Road Closure: Approximately 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Park Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue

To allow crews to safely complete the work, a portion of Park Street will be temporarily closed during this time. The road is expected to reopen by approximately 2:30 p.m.
