It’s a bitter sweet day that marks the end of another fantastic market season at Kingston Farmers Market! A big thanks and appreciation to everyone at the market who makes it possible and all of you who came out and supported our little sourdough endeavour - we are forever grateful!
The markets might be over but the oven is still on and our beloved starter Edda is as bubbly as ever!

We’re Hiring!! Holy Dough!!!
📣 Looking for a Sourdough Sidekick 🍞
I’ve been baking my heart out, and the time has come to find someone to join the magic.
We’re on the lookout for someone local(ish) (Saint John/ KV/ Hampton area) who’s curious about the craft of sourdough, eager to learn, and ready to get their hands (and apron) dirty. This would include helping with prep, mixing, baking, and clean-up—starting a couple of weekdays a week, with potential to grow.
No need for pro experience, but you do need to love the process. We’re hoping to train someone who can eventually take on part of the process independently, so Elm & Ash can keep growing.
We don’t have all the details nailed down yet, but we have a strong sense it’s time to call the right person in and figure the rest out together.
