Congratulations to Michele (Mike) D’Agruma on the remarkable milestone of his 100th birthday. A former Local 837 member and longtime friend of the organization, he has touched the lives of many over the years. We wish him continued health, happiness, and many more wonderful years.
Mike was joined by his family and friends including Ronnie Di Diomede, a 49 year member.

As a Site Foreman leading a sewer and water crew, Helder understands the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that go into building the infrastructure our communities rely on every day.
In this week’s Member Spotlight, Helder shares his advice for those considering a career in the skilled trades, what he wishes more people understood about the industry, and what a typical day on the job looks like.
From early mornings to seeing a project come together, Helder’s story highlights the rewarding opportunities and sense of accomplishment that come with a career in the trades.

This past weekend, LiUNA Local 837 was proud to sponsor another Assistant Custodian team at the **Mudgirl 5K**! 💜🏃♀️🩷
Our Saturday and Sunday teams took on the course with determination, teamwork, and plenty of laughs along the way. It was incredible to see members come together to support one another and enjoy a fun-filled weekend.
This event holds special meaning as it helps raise awareness and support for breast cancer, a cause that impacts so many individuals and families in our communities.
