This is a great opportunity to present your innovative ideas in the brain tumour field to a panel of interdisciplinary judges from across Ontario!

For those who are not familiar with our location, you can find Celebration Hall at the basement of Kenneth Taylor Hall on campus. The main entrance to the hall is right opposite the David Bradley Athletic Centre. Here's a map with specific directions, and we will have volunteers on the site to help direct you, should you need any help!

Official SABCR Undergraduate Research Proposal Competition (UPRC) Preview

Undergraduate Research Proposal Competition

Students Advancing Brain Cancer Research will be collaborating with the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada to host an undergraduate research proposal competition concurrently with the research symposium! All McMaster undergraduate students are invited to submit an innovative research proposal in the field of brain cancer research in teams of 2-4 members. The top 5 teams will have the opportunity to deliver an oral presentation to the panel of adjudicators at the research symposium on October 24th, 2015!

Registration for both the symposium and competition is currently open! The competition registration fee is $25 per group, and symposium registration fee is $15 per person. Students interested in the competition are only expected to pay the competition registration fee at this point. The top 5 teams invited to the symposium will be required to pay the symposium registration fee near October 24th.

Competition participants who have registered will receive an official guideline package via e-mail starting on September 11th. Registration will continue to be open until September 29th.

The submission deadline for the proposal is October 2nd, 2015.
