This might be a bit of a hot take, but it’s something I’ve been seeing a LOT lately 👀

As much as I love helping and answering your skincare questions, there’s something important I want to point out…

I keep seeing the exact same routines being recommended over and over again by ChatGPT. It’s usually a mix of The Ordinary and La Roche-Posay. Same products, different people.

Does that not feel a little off?

Skin isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your skin is influenced by your hormones, lifestyle, environment, age, medications, stress levels, and even how you’re actually using your products. No algorithm can fully assess that.

When I build a routine for you, I’m not just picking “popular” products — I’m customizing based on:
• your skin history
• what you’ve already tried (and how it reacted)
• your goals
• your budget
• and what will realistically work for YOUR life

There’s also this idea that aestheticians are just trying to “sell you more”… but honestly, my goal is the opposite. I want you using LESS, but using the RIGHT things so you actually get results.

Because here’s the truth:
• AI can’t see your skin in real life
• AI can’t ask the right follow-up questions
• AI doesn’t track your progress or adjust your routine
• AI doesn’t catch when your barrier is compromised or when something is making things worse
• AI gives general advice — not clinical judgement

Affordable skincare exists at every level. Drugstore, professional, medical-grade — it’s not about price, it’s about what actually works for you.

Most of the products I carry range from $20–$100, and they’re chosen intentionally to get you results without wasting your money on trial and error.
