Was talking with a young Vietnamese who's applying for a room rental so now can't sleep. Our map of the world was a gift from our Chilean kids. We scratch out their country and flag when they arrive. Hosting our newest and youngest from Saudi Arabia is once again a pleasure. 51 kids from 27 countries. Will Vietnam be the 28th???

BTW...We are taking applications for the Grand and Taupe Rooms. Taupe room May 1st. Grand Room July 1st.

Renting rooms continues to be a real joy with current rental kids, and visits from the ones who now have jobs and new homes.

The kids meet Memere and learn how to make cheese struddle and homemade noodles.

The Taupe Room available March 1st, with possiblity of early move in.

Applicants must be absolute non smokers/tokers, clean, and get along well with others.

No need to hire a cleaning person as weekly cleaning is included in your rent. There is a hot tub on the large exterior deck that you may use, along with an Attic family room for movies, celebrations, board and card games...and with Bruce and Susan living on the upper floors, you are welcome to enjoy a few house family meals and many baked treats. Camping in the summer, and area tours may also be an added treat. All this, plus hi speed WiFi, and utilities, for only $825. Ask about parking, and/or linens (bedding and towels), or Queen's laundry service for $25/month.

Minutes from 4 bus stops, you can get around the city fast and easy...Downtown, the Go train and bus station, and beautiful Parks within 11 minutes. Most of McMaster and Mohawk College's Greater Hamilton locations are within 11 to 31 minutes.

Reunion with our Chilean Uni-kids who stayed with us in February and March of 2019 and visited regularly after they got an apartment until they finished their degree and fellowship programs. They were back in Canada for a visit in March💕. Miss them terribly.

2023 was 😍 🤩. From meeting some of the International McMaster University and Mohawk College kid's (old &new) parents, showing them all our beautiful surroundings, camping, birthday celebrations, Christmas, family dinners and BBQs..all the way to New Year's Eve...it is surely a year to remember. Thank you to all our beautiful kids who have helped make our old house a place they call their home. You have blessed our lives beyond what we could have ever imagined.
