I’ll be honest: 2025 felt like a marathon through a storm.

On one hand, we had the ultimate miracle of becoming parents.

On the other, we faced losses that made the world feel fragile and unsafe.

We worked hours that seem cruel looking back at now.

We sacrificed our wants, our comforts, and at times our mental health for what we were working towards.

Most days felt heavy, almost lethargic, leaving me asking, “Is this it?”.

But hindsight is a gift…

Sitting here now with Zèvier napping and my little family gathered on the couch, I realize that even the “torturous” “unbearable” parts were just clearing the way for this peace.

It’s not about what brought us down, but about what we love.

I’m walking into this new year with a new rule: Protect your joy.

I’m learning to stay present in the good times and not let anything or anyone blind me to how beautiful this life is.

It’s more than me now, it’s us!

Our lives changed forever on October 17th when we got the call that we were chosen to be the parents to a beautiful, healthy baby boy born in August 2025.

On November 4th, we brought our little man home, and life ever since has been a blur of sleepless nights, countless diapers, bottles, and the best snuggles imaginable.

While we have about 6 months to a year until we’re legally and officially his father’s, we’re already completely head over heels.

We don’t anticipate any issues, but we welcome all your positive energy and well wishes as we navigate this amazing new journey as a family.

Please help us welcome Zèvier (Zev-yay) to the crew!

There are many people who have been on this long 6year + journey with us!

As you can imagine having less than a month heads up to prep is crazy. But with our friends and family support we are ready.
