Paddles downโฆ party on! ๐ฃโโ๏ธ๐น๐
After working hard on the water, we swapped paddles for drinks, munchies, and plenty of laughs at the club house at Macassa Bay. The only thing stronger than our strokes today was the friendship around the table!
A special shout-out to our June birthday crewโwe were more than happy to help celebrate (and sample a few extra snacks in your honour! ๐).
Dragon boating is about more than paddling fastโitโs about the friendships, fun, and memories we make along the way. What a fantastic way to wrap up a beautiful day with an amazing group of women! ๐๐๐ฅ

Serena, your story beautifully captures what so many of us feel but struggle to put into words. Dragon boating brings together strength, hope, healing, and community in a truly remarkable way. Thank you for sharing your journey and reminding us of the power of paddling together. ๐๐And see you in France๐ซ๐ท

Flat & Fabulous ๐๐
Some of us are newbies, some are vets. Some chose reconstruction, some didnโt. Some are flat, some arenโt.
Different bodies. Different choices. One incredible team.
We are Flat & Fabulous, strong in our own skin, proud of our scars, and unstoppable when we paddle together. From first strokes to finish lines, every woman brings courage, resilience, and a whole lot of sass to the boat.
Hereโs to confidence, friendship, survivorship, and proving that strength comes in every shape and story.
No b***s? No problem. Just power, pride, and plenty of paddle! ๐ช๐๐ฃโโ๏ธ

๐๐ Looks like our dragon boats had an unexpected sleepover! ๐๐
Mother Nature had other plans for our camp yesterday afternoon. With the winds picking up and conditions becoming unsafe, we made the decision to cancel the camp. The winds were so strong that our boats couldnโt make it back to Macassa Bay and had to spend the night docked at Bayfront Park!
This morning felt a little like picking up your kid after a sleepoverโchecking in, making sure everything was okay, and bringing them safely home where they belong. ๐
Thank you to our paddlers for their flexibility, positive attitudes, and teamwork. The boats are back home, the team is safe, and weโll be back on the water together soon!

๐Happy Pride Month from KAB โ Celebrating Inclusion, Strength, and Community๐
This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength that comes from inclusion, the power of community, and the courage to be authentically yourself.
Our boat is stronger because of the diverse voices, experiences, and identities that paddle alongside us. We are proud to support a community where everyone is welcome, valued, respected, and celebrated.
Together we paddle with strength. Together we lead with love. Together we create a space where everyone belongs.

Our first race of the season at The Toronto Womenโs International Dragon Boat Festival at Heart Lake last Sunday and the determination was written all over every face, every stroke, every push to the finish.
Strength. Grit. Focus. Power.
This is what teamwork looks like.
Proud of how our Knot A Breast crews showed up and raced with heart. This is only the beginning.
