Employee Spotlight: Cole Vanlaren is one of our valued lead hands and brings an eye for detail to every project he works on. Being creative comes naturally to Cole so he is constantly looking for new and better ways to complete projects. While some might not work out as well as others, many of his solutions have helped Calibre bring a better product to our clients. (Also, trust me, he does smile from time to time) Thanks for your hard work Cole and never stop looking for new ways and better solutions.

Big strip day on this huge custom home foundation in Milton with Platt Fine Homes. 13ft high walls on 4ft frost/base walls. It was a great challenge but our team killed it.

Our Story
John Pennings has a long history with concrete, having worked in the business throughout Southern Ontario since the 1970s. In 1997, he founded John’s Concrete Forming (JCF) in Rockton, Ontario. From the start, JCF earned a solid reputation for thorough, precise concrete forming.
Today, we operate as Calibre Concrete Forming – a name launched in 2014 to better represent the type of service and product we offer. We are now a team of over 20 people, with all key equipment on site and ready access to structural and soil engineers where needed. We are equipped for projects large and small, standard issue and out-of-the-box.
We have the same mission today as we always have: to not only produce perfectly crafted concrete, but to function as a valuable partner in residential, commercial and industrial projects.
